Octorara Area Little League offers divisions for all children (Co-Ed), ages 4-16. The number of spring divisions and teams may vary each year based on the number of registered players and their overall skill levels. Most players will register for the division that corresponds with their league age. However, annual evaluations may result in some players moving up or down between divisions.
After evaluations, the league uses this information to determine the final number of teams for each level. Please note that changes in division placement may result in a partial refund or additional registration fees.
Spring playing age is based on the child's age as of August 31st of the current season.

Each division will focus on sportsmanship, team camaraderie, and simply having fun with teammates. Regardless of the players' age and division, the fundamentals (hitting, catching, throwing, fielding a ground ball, and baserunning) are the same. Coaches will have different styles, but they are all working towards the same goal, ensuring the players learn good fundamentals while having fun. Little League provides some instructional documents for T-Ball (Little League Tee Ball Curriculum) and Coach Pitch (Coach Pitch) that coaches at that age should be referencing.
